I mentioned the Joy Bag elsewhere. I'm interested in any of the bags shown below:

The Joy Bag, top left, comes in S and L sizes. The Speedbag M is shown, there is a larger Speedbag from the Spotmatic era. The Gadget Bag is shown at the bottom of the picture.
If you have any of these and want to sell, just drop me a PM or e-mail.
Best regards, John

Hi John, I didn't know the Speedbags made after about 1968. I have one from about that date (sorry not for sale awaiting restoration). I never saw the M version which would be about 1976. Brilliant idea for a bag, but they used some 4mm thick foam to line the inside which just perishes and makes a hell of a mess of the insides. So they will have all finished up like mine and need relining, also they were tailored to the Spotmatic so the support for that would have to be changed, fairly trivial job.

Brilliant idea and I never understood why no one else ever brought out a bag like that. The top and side opened outwards which formed a shelf to put lenses and film on while you changed them instead of putting them on the ground, wall etc.

Just had a look what's in my bag and there's a new Helecoid extension tube.... new Fantastic Colour Filter that changes colour as you rotate it.... new Magic Image Attachment that has a sort of prism that gives you 5 images on film. Sadly the pouches that these are in also have the rotting foam problem

What? no See-Back-Oscope in there?

The Speedbag was brilliant, I got mine in 75. There were two versions at least, mine was the ES one with a cut-out in the camera support for the battery compartment on the ES. The external vinyl and foam wore out on mine where the hard plastic shoulder strap chaffed against it.
