Recently repaired a Canon 70-300mm L USM lens and a Pentax DA 55-300mm for me, quick turnaround and decently priced. Have used him for other lenses previously although I did send a 50-135mm to Johnsons when it needed a new SDM motor (as he had never done one before) and that was also speedy.

+1 for Alan Marlow.

Nice guy, I've had a couple of things done by him. Reasonable prices, good work.

Lives a couple of miles from me so very handy.

I've had 4 repairs done, all sent off to repairers by SRS under warranty

K20d SD card spring, back in 7 working days including a day to send off from SRS and them to send it back to me

DA*300mm AF failure back in 7 working days including a day to send off from SRS and them to send it back to me (might have been less for this one) (year b4 last)

K-5 rubber grip back in 7 working days including a day to send off from SRS and them to send it back to me (last year)

K-5 Lens change button falling off took about 10 working days. (last year)

I posted my K3 late afternoon on the 3rd Feb. It had the vertical banding problem. Recieved a replacement this morning 14th Feb.

my story has been sorted too by the looks of it. Got the camera back about 2 weeks after it arrived with them.

Looks to be sorted but won't know for sure until I get to try it out again later in the month. Johnsons Photopia were easy to deal with and appear to have sorted the problem in a quick and professional manner.
