Pentax Price Increase?

I just checked out the Jessops site and they appear to have increased the price of the Pentax K5 II two lens package (which includes the 18-55 and 50-200 kit lens) since the 11th May by £100 to £959.99 (less £70 cash-back until 27th July).

I can't say for sure, but it looks like other Pentax products have increased in cost also.

I wonder, is this an indication Pentax have introduced a 2013 price increase or just Jessops?

Why not check out www.srsmicrosystems.co.uk who are a major Pentax dealer. Hopefully you'll find prices at a better level.

I think I'm already a convert John.
Nobody else came close to SRS on the price for the Sigma 150-500.

Just interesting to note the increase of more than 11% at Jessops.
Doesn't bode well for their chances of survival.

It does remain to be seen whether or not a new owner can make the figures add up any better.

I doubt they sell enough in the way of Pentax gear to have any real impact on their survival chances to be honest. the previously mentioned SRS have that end of the market sewn up I would have thought, I have only used Jessops a couple of times in the past and that was purely because they had some silly prices on a couple of lenses.
