Yep.could this be the stabalising mechanism?
It's the sensor sliding from side to side. There's a slight noise when it slides, and a faint thud as it reaches the limit of its movement.
All the Pentax dSLRs with shake reduction do this, as far as I know. Completely normal.

I've had my Pentax K-m for a short while after taking forever to switch over to digital photography.
Decided to stick with Pentax due to the backward compatibility with older lenses.
One question to all digital SLR users, when I slowly rotate the camera there's a slight movement inside.
This is more noticeable when the camera is off, I've removed the batteries and the lens, could this be the stabalising mechanism?
Oh by the way, there's no problem with the camera taking pictures.
