£10 down on last weekend, when I finally bought mine! They MUST be watching....
Same price at SRS, but postage to be added at Clifton.

I am starting to get tempted! Trouble is I have just discovered the joys of having a grip on my K20D (which I got via this forum) and I could never justify the price of the D-BG4.

I finally gave in this week and took delivery of the K5 on Wednesday - and the 'copy' battery grip today for £40 - same make as the grip I had on nmy K20D which worked perfectly - Pentax grips are a ridiculous price

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Buttons don't go soft, writing doesn't wear off, switch clicks nicely with no hint of a wobble and unlike the copy it is WR.
The copy grip drove me insane .. esp after spending all that money on the K-5.

I couldn’t resist any longer, K5 ordered from SRS, delivery next Wednesday.
Her who must be obeyed said yes, so the deal was done, before minds were changed.
Was also allowed to order the 100mm macro lens.
Christmas is early this year.
Take care.

At 5 times the price - I would certainly hope the Pentax is better quality! As I do not own any WR lenses, I do not care about the grip not being WR. The buttons on the one I had on my K20 for 2 years were fine and from a couple of posts I have seen - the writing is already wearing off some owners K5s - so if that happened it would just match - fritzthedog wrote:

At the end of the day - after shelling out for the K5 - the options were copy grip or no grip - and at £50 including 2 batteries - if the grip lasts a year - I will have no complaints

I'm not saying don't buy the copy grip .. if it that or nothing then fine it will do, I am saying the Pentax grip is much better made.At the end of the day - after shelling out for the K5 - the options were copy grip or no grip - and at £50 including 2 batteries - if the grip lasts a year - I will have no complaints
Whether it's worth it or not only the end user can decide.

Anyway more heavy discounting this weekend, starting with Clifton cameras. It's the cheapest price ever for all variants.
Now this means,
1)Someone out there knows the K3 is due soon
or
2)They know I just got one!
