Peter, I recall a discussion on this sync spec matter a while ago, and I argued for the point that we needed a shorter time value for maximum sync (250th was referred to) , and I must say it was generally dismissed by experienced people on here ... Considered of no significance ....(I mean the difference between 180th and 250th) .Let me see if Ricoh/Pentax have finally got the flash synch speed up to 1/250th before I think about it !
I thought it would have practical advantages, even that little bit, when you're up against the brightness buffer and don't have HSS assailable.
What do you see as the key significance and practical benefit of a shorter max sync time ?

Their credit scores?
Back ache?
Chromatic aberrations and other film era lens defects?
How fiddly it is to get SD cards out of the slots?
Why do birds in the viewfinder look smaller?
Is it just me or is my new FF camera rubbish?
Finally I can use my M50 1.7 and get the intended perspective (cue someone then saying 'it doesn't change perspective'...) ....
Hopefully NOT any complaints about Movie Shake Reduction in video mode ....
Oh yes, why did they not put the video switch somewhere else ....
and 'what lenses will fit on my new FF camera' ....
and 'my M28 fits on perfectly but when I press the shutter button nothing happens ... what am I doing wrong, or should I take the camera back to the shop' ?
Pentax Full Frame - To Grip or not to Grip?
There, plenty to keep us going until Christmas

Fantastic News - so it looks like I should be able to pick up a bargain priced K3 before the end of the year
As for "what will we talk about" - the possibilities are endless but will undoubtedly centre around the main theme of:
"Why isn't there a Pentax version available of everything produced by or for every other brand"
I look forward to enjoying seeing the incredible improvement in the images produced by users who upgrade to FF.
OK that last comment was a little sarcastic but in truth, with some undoubted exceptions, I suspect that the vast majority of members (myself included) would benefit far more from spending time on learning 'the art' than spending money upgrading to FF.

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

I just hope they don't succumb too much to the MP race, which could rob FF of one of its potential benefits over APS -C sensors . Eg low light/ low noise at high ISO values.
There are differences between cameras with different sensor sizes. Personally I'd love a FF camera, but only at times when it's characteristics would benefit my shot.
