I added the older looking WR lens to cart as it says about the WR in the write up and the Mk II didn't say owt about it being WR in the write up and I wasn't sure if it was a typo mistake :

Have you completed the order at the check out then :
Don't get the MkII. The middle image is the new lens.

I suspect that they are selling off as I know the shop well and they are huge Canon fans with Nikon and Sony following a second and third in that order.

Gareth was in there like a whippet!!!!!

Thanks Gareth, I appreciate the effort. I see you've got the Samsung - I've just bought a Samsung 18-55 BNIB off ebay for £30 to match the body, so I would have ended up with three of them anyway!! (LBA gone mad? Don't fancy a swap do you:wink

Congrats, Gary and Gareth! You've got a super deal there, Gary, with the 50-135 at that price.

Just had an email from a mate in Bahrain, all gone! He just missed a 50-135. As I said, I'm sure they were selling off old stock as they don't actively support Pentax.

It's rare that I ever stumble on a deal like this. Hope it's OK? Won't know till Xmas.

Email on your phone!!???

I'm on pay as I go, can't afford a contract....

My wife collected the lenses this morning. No chance of keeping anything secret.

When I bought the D700, they were the cheapest in the UK.

They are five miles from my house. Deal was: go to Middlesbrough, collect lenses, then home. Quick political rethink...then I said, go to Middlesbrough, buy yourself something, have a coffee, collect lenses then go home.

Mines a Nokia 5800 on pay as you talk, Qnet out here and Asda at home.

Sad really?

Damn, could have done with a WR for £20.
Still, Park Cameras are knocking them out for £60 if anyone's interested. (Just saved £33 on my Christmas pressie!)

I suppose sometimes something is too good to be true, although it sounds like they were incompetent rather than dishonest. Still, £20 for the MkII is not bad!

I am right now arn't I this is the lens I was sent and its not a WR lens :
The WR lenses look completely different. The lens you have recv'd is not a WR lens. Look here.

I believe the WR lenses have those two letters included on the front bezel.

The seller's mistake is in their title. Everything else is accurate and £20 for that lens is excellent. I paid £30 for a new one about a year ago and I thought that was good.
