Pentax 1st dslr

Has anyone got one of these Pentax 1st dslr? I have got one and I have no idea what sort of battery it takes found it in a charity shop for £5.00 I think it will work needs a bit of a clean but the kit lens is in perfect condition just the battery housing is a bit dirty, I think the battery might have leeked out at one time, its got a strap and a lenscap too.

Thanks Dave it looks OK bit mucky but I can clean the outside fingers crossed it works !!! :

This has got to be a wind up

I paid £1200 for my istD along with 18-35 lens and AF360 flashgun

And I still love it, which reminds me to change my will, I would sooner see it cremated with me than see it in a charity shop for £5

Well spotted bargain Trixie, hope you can get the batteries sorted and it works OK.

Not a wind up it works perfectly loaded it up with a set of batteries and gave it wipe over and just switched it on, the on/off switch is a bit tempromental but it was late when I was messing with it, the lens is better than the kit lens on my K-x so may swop them over
