Is it just me getting sick and tired of all this negativity?

No, me too. I find it boring. Much better to chuck the camera in a bag and go and take some photos. That's what we bought them for in the first place, or is it to brag about the latest tech ?Is it just me getting sick and tired of all this negativity?
you don't need mirrorless or £1200 iphone to take good pictures.
Here is a picture I took 9 years ago on some horribly outdated, slow autofocussing, pathetic megapixel garbage of a camera...... click for a larger image if anyone can bear to be disappointed by old technology

What a disgusting image - if it was taken with a Sonykon DM950RS MILC 645 then it would have been much better.

K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Ho hum. Ricoh/Pentax will carry on doing what they do - listening to and producing for their major market, the Far East, and maybe doing something for the loudest group of occidental Pentax users - which seems to be the DSLR old guard who have been demanding FF for years and, now they've got it, might shut up and stop bothering them.
SteveH!
Some people call me 'strange'.
I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

Mirrorless will win in the end and Pentax need to get with it.
