PC for photo editing.

Hi all, does anyone use a Dell Inspiron 560 for editing? I have my eye on one at reasonable price and other sites have good things to say about it. User comments from this Forum very welcome.

Hi John. I've had a 560 for around 3 years now, from new. It's been a good machine for me - It runs on Windows 7 primarily using MS Office, Windows Explorer, LR3 and PSE8. It came with 2Gb RAM which I upgraded to 6Gb earlier this year (for about £17) so that I could (easily) have Explorer and Office running at same time as LR3. As well as the internal drive, I also have a permanently-connected Iomega HDD external drive and read/write times all round are prefectly fine for photo editing.
