Cheers.
Happy to report the 3rd Party battery lasted well over 1200 shots and a couple of hours of messing around with the menu and general 'new toy' syndrome.
And it didn't catch fire once

Cheers Smeg - nice to see it's giving you some fun! Very good news about the ISO and focus speeds with the 50-135 as well.
You'll be able to dial in some lens-by-lens AF adjustments.

But I've got the dreaded low light Front Focussing problem. It's pretty bad too. On t'other forum I read that lens type may make a difference so I'm going to do some tests with different lenses.

Be interesting to see which ones do which on your K5 then...
If you were to adjust for the lens giving you low light FF, what does that mean for use of that same lens in bright light? Has that been tried I wonder?

It would throw it off focus in normal light. With the sigma I doubt there would be enough range to adjust it was way way off at EV2.Be interesting to see which ones do which on your K5 then...
