Optio 430 Shutter problem

hi guys, been looking around this forum but haven't seen any solution to this so I'm firing up a topic on it again coz I just got to experience having the shutter of my Optio 430 not going off. Bought this brand new 2 years or so ago in hongkong so it's definitely without any warranty now. didn't drop this unit. not even an impact or anything that could loosen anything inside.

everything is working fine. review, zoom in and out, shutter focusing in half-cock... so what gives?

hoping for your help on this coz I am from the Philippines and there's no pentax digital service center here. thanks
