espio 110, E on LCD, film at the end

My camara wasnt in use for a longer time. Today i recognized an E and only an E blinking on LCD, i first thought it needs Energy , but that wasnt the problem, of course. I used the new battery anyway.
The film is at the end and not rewinded, i opened and closed the thing where the films lies under several times, shortly the 0 appeared on LCD but then blinking E again.
- manual rewind impossible
- removing battery for 2 hours didnt changed anything

If you check out my sticky re. error codes, you'll see that you have a drive error.

I have an Espio 120 with the exact same problem, unfortunately it would be cheaper to buy a replacement camera from eBay than to get yours repaired.

It's a pity that you ruined the film - you could have removed it safely inside a light-tight box or got a local photo shop to do it for you.
