Apart from Venice, which is obvious, can you name a European City which has no Roads?

I'll not answer each reply with right/wrong but wait and see what ideas you all have.

I've heard that in the UK, there's a place that has no cars allowed - does that qualify?

Venice is not car free. And that is not what asked.

Giethoorn, Overijssel. At least the old part of it.

Kalenberg, Overijssel ditto.

Wengen and Saas Fe and the like don't have cars, and can't be accessed by car so I assume they don't have roads, only paths, but I have never been.

Mont St Michel only has paths, no roads.

None are cities though.

That's easy. Everyone knows "all roads lead to Rome", therefore Rome can't have any roads, because they would all lead back to itself.
I'll collect the prize in gold bullion, or K7's, thank you very much.

No need to get shirty about it buddy.

Louvain-la-Neuve
Lindos
Giethoorn

I haven't listed all the small alpine towns in Switzerland, or the numerous islands which are all car-free.

Rhodes is in Greece, so therefore all cities elsewhere in Europe are Rhodes-free.

I guess it also depends on your definition of roads.

Are you saying tarmac construction?

I think the OP is differentiating between "no roads" and "car free" which I guess can be different (how the hell they get cars somewhere without roads is beyond me though).
