By chance came across this Youtube video about the O-GPS1 Astrotracer. It includes input from the Pentax engineers who designed the unit (partially in Japanese but does have English subtitles where necessary) so may well be of interest to those who have one of these or are thinking about it.

That's a whole lot of sensor movement ability!
Impressive that it can move so far on so many different direction/axis.

Looks like 'in/out' is the only axis missing, given it can do left and right, up and down, and therefore rotations also via combinations of the above two.
