I bet that leaves a big hole in their floor plan.

Something must be afoot. It's a major cancellation at very short notice.
Best regards, John

Not a good thing for photography in general. No doubt this will affect attendance and in turn there will be less people viewing the other manufacturers products.

Especially with two new cameras to promote.

perhaps they are spending the money instead in adding AF fine tuning for the 60D ?

Well my wife is a Canon user and is frankly pretty jealous of my K-5's ISO performance. She's also commented that folks here on the Pentax User forums seem to be a lot friendlier to newbies than the Canon forums she has visited.

My Canon shooting buddy didn't bother with the Canon forums after a short while on them He said they were full of anal childish sycophants.Well my wife is a Canon user and is frankly pretty jealous of my K-5's ISO performance. Although to be fair I have read a couple of threads on a Canon forum where they were discussing the K-5, and although the aforementioned people were present there were quite a few Canonites extoling the virtues of the k-5.

One of the many reasons I went for Pentax was because of the very same arguments presented here. In my experience, there are fanboys, and there are arseholes. There are a lot Canon and Nikon users that fit both descriptions and I was pretty much dissuaded me from getting into their group. Borderline elitist attitude.
Well, I never was one to join in on the bandwagon.

"Now here's what I should have had" TRUE!!!
Sorry guys but recently I've been using my second dlsr(Canon), still been using my Pentax film camera Please don't hurt me
Recently I've been taking photos of sport cars, and... I ordered my prints 9x6, number of images from my old k200d and from canon.
Pics from Pentax with Sigma 18-35 or kit lens and few with 50/1.7, are so sharp and reach in details as never, where pics from Canon with sigma 18-50/2.8 closed to 4 or 5.6 are f******** compering to Pentax.
I'm thinking about selling stuff and maybe get K20D or K7, but K20D is much comfortable for me(due size of body).
By the way, how is that possible that my Pentax been producing much better photos with really cheap lenses and C with 2.8 zoom gives really bad quality?
Maybe someone is going to sell K20D in next couple weeks time?
