Hi all,

Just purchased myself a new Pentax K-x with 18-55mm kit lens during the January sales super chuffed with the purchase and looking to learn lots from you guys here!

Desperately after a couple of new lenses already thought (photography is so addictive once you bag a DSLR!).

Would anyone be able to recommend a couple please?

I've already got my eyes set on a sub-F2 lense. Most likely the Pentax FA 50mm F1.4...or the Sigma 30mm F1.4. Anyone able to shed some light on which would be better for portrait and bokeh photos?

I'm also looking for a 18mm-135mm zoom lens(or thereabouts, don't mind going a few millimetres either side if the price difference and image quality is worth it!), could anyone recommend one which is around the £200 mark?

Again, thanks for reading and looking forward to getting familiar with the regulars on the forum!

G'day and welcome. Spend some time on the 'lens' forum here, do some searching on it and you'll start to get a feel for some of what is available.

The usual advice is don't rush into lenses with a new camera. Check out the kit lens you have first.
