Hi Guys. Just got a K10 after a break of 20 years from SLR slinging. WOW! do I like digital!
Quick question:- I always used to have a filter perminantly attached basically to potect the lens from physical damage. I assume this is still a good idea, what type of filter should I use on the DSLR?
Thanks, Phil

There are quite a few here that don't put a filter on the lens in case it gets broken, and then the splinters of glass trash the front element. I always used to think the same as you but now I'm not so sure.
