No, no, no! What I meant was, nice as it is to have good, clear pics of what they look like, the most important thing (I hope) to us all is what the image quality of pics taken with them is like.
They look lovely, but if we can get the same IQ with, for instance, a Canon lens, then they're not worth the money.

They are when you take account of the cost of machining a Canon lens to accept a K-mount. They look lovely, but if we can get the same IQ with, for instance, a Canon lens, then they're not worth the money.

Ah!! I see what you mean!
Sorry, but have no pictures taken with them - as they are pre-production this was not allowed.....
We won't have too long to wait though....

Yeah, but why bother? They are when you take account of the cost of machining a Canon lens to accept a K-mount.

Anyway, I have a kit bag that fulfils all my needs, I won't be buying any more lenses for a while now.*

The K10D with 16-50 mm looks an especially desirable and formidable image-making tool.
*Looks at ist DL with 16-45 mm on table*
Sigh....

Weren't you 'led to believe' a March delivery date at some point Chris? It's been extended before, it can be extended again.Hyram wrote:

Pentax's promises seem to have more holes in than a colander.

I hadn't seen the pictures. I think the gold trim looks a bit tacky, would rather have silver trim
I guess they'll actually look quite nice on the new K10D Limited edition.
But then I'm not saving for them for aesthetic reasons, image quality and speed is what I'm after!
