OK, when I post something on a thread and then press the add comment button I am sent to the top of the page on that thread so I then have to scroll right down the page to see what I typed.
Pretty sure it never did that before, didn't it just leave you at your post?
Infact it does the same when you preview your comment as well which is even more annoying.

Agreed. I have just found that as well. Definitely frustrating!OK, when I post something on a thread and then press the add comment button I am sent to the top of the page on that thread so I then have to scroll right down the page to see what I typed.

Even worse I have just contributed to a thread with a poll. Once you select an answer, and therefore can see the poll results, the poll takes up up a huge amount of vertical space adding to the amount of scrolling you need to do to get back to your new post.
If you want to see the amount of space a poll now demands try voting on this one here.

Mike-P, I put in a report about the problem you outlined and it's now been fixed.
Best regards, John

Back button seems to work properly again in Opera 12 - many thanks for that.
Cheers.

Because of the lack of the Back Button function here, I upgraded from Opera 12 to Opera 25, as suggested. Having used it for a couple of weeks, I still prefer the way 12 works, so I have gone back to using that older version, intending to put up with the PU Back Button problem.
However, something I didn't know until now - if I hold the mouse button down briefly, with the pointer over the Back Button, it reveals a list of the previous pages recently visited, making it possible to go back easily via that list.
Cheers.
