New 100mm macro + DIY flash diffuser

Hi All, So for a bit of fun, I decided to make myself a DIY flash diffuser for my macro photos (sorry, don't have a photo yet, but I'll try and take one soon) for my old manual external flash. Loving the 100mm macro, giving me that bit of extra distance between myself and the subject. Also, the diffuser seems to help, and also gives me some funny looks :) Some snaps below. I agree that I'll probably settle on a commercial soft box / diffuser in the end, but this is a fun experiment to see what works well with very little cost. I think something that could be folded up and taken on walks would be useful in the long run. I think I'll probably keep this one at the plot as it's not much fun to carry around!

Thanks, but that's because I left out the 100+ images where everything was out of focus
