I don't really know what to say, they look great but why the flash if you've the tripod. Flash light makes the photos quite flat you know so probable without you might have ended with better photos.

Paul then it makes more sense you did that, i really like the composition of the shots and it's a shame that a tiny bit of the leaf falls outside the frame with the 3th photo.

At night is always a challenge....i feel that my flowers look waxy when I use a flash.
Heidi's flower...it was beautiful indeed...I am afraid beats yours paul...and her style was nice...maybe I will have a go at it...see if I can copy her style.
Who knows ...you could beat me hands down too...just for fun I will try it in low light
