East or West, Pentax is the BEST. K10d is a great camera. Enjoy it. You contribute or not, just visiting this site is enough. Its great.By the way, till now you have had a great and interesting life.

Somewhere safe in deepest Lancashire.
at the loss of my first love, on the rebound I indulged in a
brief but torrid affair with a tarty ME Super, putting K1000 behind me. Love can be fickle however, I couldn't settle as I felt the tug on my heart strings for some posh totty. A sleek Pentax LX had caught my roving eye and I was smitten. I traded the ME for the LX but in a pique of remorse at dumping the Super, I immediately bought another. Menage a trois was now the order of the day, peace reigned and life was grand again! Being young though I had earthy needs as well, sated by a string of girlfriends, until one fateful day found me dragged kicking and screaming before the altar. Shackled by a band of gold I was sentenced by a priest to marriage for life. For a while photography took a back seat, and as is so often the case with matrimony, soon a baby arrived and then another... youth was doomed and my mistresses mothballed! I've not been a bad husband or dad, not perfect but not bad, yet now some twenty odd years later for whatever her reasons my wife hates me, and so, recently I've begun to seek solace once more in my old loves. I've dusted off the LX & the Super and though the years may have condemned age has certainly not wearied them. To their number I've added a K10D - Err... well... err... it's siamese twin the GX10 actually - the same thing but for the more financially challenged, or astute depending on your perspective. With the passion for all things Pentax stirring within me once more, I've also aquired a heap of glass, as like many of you sad enough to be reading this I've succumbed to a serious bout of LBA, an infection I'd sware I contracted through visiting this site. It's a bit like the photographers equivalent of herpes, there is no known cure, you're just grateful for any brief periods of remission but when you get the itch you just gotta buy! Maybe visits to this site should come with a Health Warning! No offence intended! I enjoy my daily sojourns here, it's very therapuetic. I still have earthy needs however, unsatisfied even by Pentax Porn! But who knows? I may just find a new soulmate amongst these hallowed pages, ownership of a K5 a distinct advantage though not essential, but must be slim, fit and female. Lol....

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!
