Wow, a great series of images. I've never seen a murmuration, went to a local RSPB reserve (Old Moor) last weekend and the staff reliably informed me that there would be a murmuration that evening, but nothing whatsoever occurred!
I'm just a wee bit jealous that you can see this in your locality Andy.

I wonder that - they quite often make a sudden dive almost into the sea and then come back up again!

They're really good!
I see #6 as a world map.
#2 as a single flying bird with a long neck (swan perhaps?)
#4 as a perched blackcap.
#5 as a single flying bird representation
#7 as the Loch Ness monster
