Gerri went down to the bike shop to discuss a Yamaha fz1 (asking price $4500.00) She walked outa there with the bike for $3300.00!!!!

I have to say I have never noticed this saving up idea. In my experience for men want = need = get and then apply bloke economics to justify purchase. How many of us blokes have been selling stuff to finance some other toy only to spend the money before we get it?

I tried arguing the dealer down for my Suzuki Bandit but he wasn't going to shift by much. Perhaps Gerri is better looking than me Oh well, I collect it on Tuesday.

That's the difference between men and women.
A man will spend $20.00 on a ten dollar item he needs, cause he wants it now.
A woman will spend $10.00 on a twenty dollar item she doesn't need, cause it's on sale now.

on the positive side, my fellow bikers on this forum, will understand....
drop a down payment on a new bike and make payments for two years...vs buying a used bike outright and no payments...
now factor in the fact that this bike is mint, low miles, well maintained, and is still an upgrade over my aging tired old bike....
