I really like those, great abstract feel to them and would make good 'wall art'. The shiny blacks contrasting with the off whites remind me of a Killer whale.
My favourite would be No.4..love the 'lighter' less menacing look to it compared to some of the others. All good though.

Number four for me, print it big. Excellent example of fun with camera when weather isn't great for other subjects.

What a great set. They're all good but Nos. 3 & 4 stand out for me.

As above - a great set. Nos 2,3 and 4 for me although no8 has a lovely dark mysterious side to it.

More watery creative images, made special by the deep tones and soft highlight textures .... Always well judged exposure times and some kind of focal point.
Now there's no denying it ... This is a 'thing' now.

That was an exciting day out. I wonder how that solitary leaf avoided being swept away?
You have a style of your own with these.

As above, a lovely set well worth revisiting to take in more of the delights. I particularly like the images where a lone autumn leaf appears as a delightful focal point amid the blurry water.

Thanks all for thoughts and comments re these... Karlo, liking the killer whale thought... the reflected light on 1 esp gives the water a kind of curvy solid look... David, my experience of caught leaves is that they can come and go pretty quickly... A combo of downforce from water and spiky rocks... There's been a few times I've tried to build compositions around leaves that disappear as quickly as they arrived... The one in 1 and 3 happily swam in and landed after I'd already decided to spend some time in this particular spot, which was pretty lucky really, so spent the next 30 mins or so trying to find ways of making it look good before it swam off...
Thanks everyone for thoughts re favourites... Always useful, and often an eye opener... Nigel... Yes, it's a fair cop... you might well be right about the "thing" thing... Am sort of doing a little project on a specific stretch of river in the Dales at the mo which I might try and put together at some point in the New Year...
Right... Thanks again all, and a very Happy Christmas...

Really like this set, they're very abstract and could easily be on a wall as art. The set as a whole I really really like but 3 & 4 for me are the best, 3 for that leaf! and 4 just because its a fantastic!
