I've just bought a used 50mm A F2 (waiting for it to arrive) and am looking at other old Pentax manual lenses..

Just came across a Miranda K mount 24mm A F2.8 - anyone know if it's any good as I can't find much on the www

thanks

From memory, Miranda was originaly a manufacturer of cameras and lenses.

In more recent times Dixons had the Brand Name and sold budget cameras, lenses, flashguns and tripods bearing the Miranda badge.

So I would think that a K mount Miranda Lens would be from the Dixons era and would be a budget model. That said, it may perform quite reasonably.
Friendly Regards

Thanks...it seems to be the consensus that this isn't a great lens, I'll keep a look out for something better
