Anyone have a 48 AF-1 and if so how do they find it ?
They just open their camera bag and it's there!

Sorry, I just couldn't help it, it must be this thread. Although I don't have one, I've only heard good things about them. I'm sure you'd be happy with it.

Gareth, I have one and the build quality is very good. I get reliable and consistent results on my K200D.Just tried test button and sure enough the update has worked for me -a low power test shot brilliant. If you're not bothered about the wirelesss issue get yourself a quality flash for £160? on the bay

I did the update. Not sure if I should really have bothered as I don't notice a difference. I found the Metz 48 AF-1 to slightly over expose and I was hoping that this update would fix it.

I updated my 58 AF-1 and everything seems fine but I very rarely use flash apart from macro and I have a ringflash for that. I think I may sell it on and look for something a bit more basic.
