Martin, you're quite likely to waste time and money by trying to find the slowest/cheapest card that will work acceptably.

Videos on the K-7 don't even work with some "Class 6" cards. I would not be surprised if this was true with the K-x as well. I would just get a Sandisk Extreme III from www.play.com straight away.

What about these link, has anyone done business with them?

Just checked what the cost would be with P&P + import and the total became €32 (£27) for registered airmail so still very good.
And it's Toshiba card which I like to have but are extremely hard to find

I normally use Picstop who I find very good but it does look like Pete has found the best price at Play.com

Does that include the handling charge to collect the VAT? Or don't you have to pay that in Holland? For UK residents the total cost would be £37 - making it more expensive than a Sandisk...

They do a cheaper price than that for the 20MB/s version: £29.99:

www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/4949676/SanDisk-8GB-SD-HC-Extreme-III-Me...

The 30MB/s version provides no advantage in a Pentax camera that I've detected so far.

Fair enough
To be honest I've only used the 30MB/s version and it works like a charm. The only other cards I have are a couple of Transcend class 6 cards and they not up to video with the K-7.

To the OP, in my opinion I would stick with user experiences rather than experimenting with unknowns as they will likely end up costing you more in the long run.

Edit: typo

Agreed, and I can recommend the Sandisk III 20MB/s from experience.

Stefan, I didn't realise the supplier could pay the VAT on the buyer's behalf. I was adding VAT and £8 Royal Mail handling charge to the total that they charged.

I can't follow you Pete sorry.
How do you come at £25.32?

This from their site:
For most overseas delivery addresses, we apply an Import Handling surcharge for handling the importation of the order into your country of delivery. As importing products from overseas can be a hassle for most of our international customers, we choose to handle this process on your behalf by adding a surcharge to your order total. The purpose of this charge is to simplify the process of buying internationally and make budgeting easier for your purchases.

The final total is all you have to pay to have the order delivered to your door without delay, as it includes shipping, insurance, any import tax, duty, clearance fees and carriers handling charges (i.e. Free Domicile).

This should cover everything right?

edit: So the total amount is right what they say?

Ok, I did't know they could pay the VAT on your behalf. If what they say is true then you are correct!

However, for UK residents at least, there would only be a £3 saving compared to a Sandisk III from the British Isles, so I wouldn't bother. In fact the Sandisk card is slightly faster.
