That's sad news to hear.
I liked the quality of the optics.
I really hope that Pentax will make more limiteds or similar like the DFA 100 WR lens.
Do you think that pentax can make a 135mm limited f/2.8 or f/3.5 pancake-ish lens?
Would be great if they can make it almost as large as the FA 77.
I doubt it will ever happen though.

I'll settle for a 135mm f2.8 as good as the new 35mm f2.4 for about the £200 mark personally, there are plenty of expensive lenses out there already for those who can afford them!

Having handled a Nikon 135mm F2 D lens (and what a beautiful piece of kit it is too) I would LOVE Pentax to come out with a DA*135mm F2 too. It would be a lot bigger than my little 135mm F2.5 Takumar, but I can imagine it being a stunner.

No i haven't because i already have a good macro around that range.
The 125mm is more interesting because it has a longer reach and is f/2.5 so that means shallower DOF and good bokeh.
