Lonely

Snapped this one on Sunday's walk next to river Thames. It was extraordinarily high tide, and I asked my wife to pose on this lonely bench. What do you think?

I would clone out the branch to the left of her head. What colour are the sails on the two yatchs? would they provide a high light to draw you into the image? But don't ask me how to do it, I don't know.

I would agree with the clone, how about colour pop the sails? after cloning out the parts of the branch in the top of the sails.

Colin

I like it! It's an intriguing image with lots to look at. Good BW conversion, and to top it all off a great hat

I would respectfully disagree with the colour popping idea. For me the boats are just incidental and not worth drawing attention to. (If you did try it then the cloning of the branches over the sails would have to be perfect as you will be drawing attention to them).

Cloning out the top left branches might improve things, but I would suggest don't remove too much as in my opinion the branches provide quite a nice frame.

Thanks for feedback guys!
I don't want to do colour pop. The sailboats are not what the picture is about and since they were bright blue, it would be too attention drawing.
As far as the cloning goes, I may give it a go, just a bit to the left of the hat, to see what it will do.

Thanks,
Peter

I like it.
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

Apparently.

I agree with Tim because I think colour popping the sails would be a distraction from the main interest in the picture which is a fine image. I would agree with those who suggested tidying the branches round your wife's head. BTW love the hat.

I also agree with Tim.
I like it as it is, but would be interested to see the branches cloned out.
