Local Wildlife - Wild Goats

The goats are part of village life, and they are a common site wondering around the village.
This particular herd consists of 11, with a couple of younger ones.

I was not very far away from them, but I was shielded by a stone wall with a fence and hedge on top.
Focusing was accomplished through small gaps in the hedge/fence, and on occasion focus would shift to a part of the hedge or fence.

The 55-300 PLM was very fast to focus, but in this scenario the biggest plus point over my previous 55-300 DA was the silent focusing; I doubt if any of these would have been possible with the DA version, due to the focus hunting and noise made whilst trying to lock focus.

Challenging conditions, and a big thumbs up to the 55-300 PLM (body was K3).

The third shot is the winner for me, although it's a little on the small side - keep it up

Thanks LennyBloke.

Whilst the 55-300 PLM performed very well, one thing I`m still getting used to is the button to release the zoom, and this led to me missing some shots on this occasion.
