The last 3 for me. The 2nd statue shot is a cracker. Was that a fountain near it, as the water looks to be rising ?
The poppies I like and the Acer leaves are lovely, if they were mine I might give the poppies a little more punch.

yes the statue is in the centre of a flower bed and they were watering it with this hose pipe type thing that was jetting water up like a fine mist! I thought happy days, thank you very much!

I love the painterly effect on the poppies, just a shame about the foreground pod that's blocking a bit of the view!

Poppies and Acer Leaves for me Gareth, although I do like all of them. The poppies in particular catch my eye.

Love the closer statue in the 'rain' shot. Great eye to spot and frame that one. So often we look to capture the whole item in the scene, but that closer crop has produced something mysterious. I like it.

The first lensbaby shot makes me nauseous

Thank you all, your words are very kind. The Lensbaby images I trialled out with various apertures and warped focus planes to see what effects I could get. I agree the look is a little 'drunk' and makes you feel queasy when viewing! I was unsure if it was a good look or not! The poppy shot I did shoot a few that didn't have any foreground OOF areas but they looked boring and lacked any feeling. By adding OOF foreground and backgrounds I felt the images had better depth and character to them. The statue I really like as it almost has a real look to it and sometimes I find myself looking at it and thinking it's a real man reading a book which then makes it, as you've said, look rather mysterious!
