A well washed 100% cotton T-Shirt is fine as long as it hasn't been near sand Probably better at mopping up the gunge than lens tissue etc.

Vodka is supposed to be quite good 40% ethanol and distilled water
and it can be used for other things Must go and get some
Half Man... Half Pentax ... Half Cucumber

Pentax K-1 + K-5 and some other stuff

Threads have a tendency to get silly when there's nothing sensible left to say.

As for cleaning lenses, the glass surfaces that is, I always use a microfibre cloth and very rarely need lens cleaner of any type.

Quite right, John, but I think we do need to ask the suppliers as to whether Eclipse/Eclipse 2 IS suitable for cleaning lens surfaces - I will be job-hunting (just been made redundant!) tomorrow, so could someone else do that on behalf of us all?

Yes, but I never let the lack of something sensible to say stop me.

AS for Eclipse Fluid, just Google it and all the answers are there. They claim it is for lenses and give instructions - that is, apply to a cloth and not directly to the lens.

I have indeed got some Pentax microfibre cloths, so ChrisA you need not feel disappointed!
Best regards, John
