Leave of absence

I'll be about for the next day or two but on Monday I am off to Romania for my field season. I'll be away for nine weeks and although I may well pop by on the odd occasion I get to an internet cafe, I'll essentially be offline. Hopefully the crew won't drive over my tripod, leave a camera in direct sunlight to fry or rip a film right out of its canister because they didn't push the rewind button in this year. Have a successful summer and I look forward to catching up on photos and posts when I return. Best wishes, Kris.

I found Romania to be a lovely place, although slightly cold this time of year.
