KR Lens Compatibility with Super A

Am I right in thinking that a Sirius MC auto zoom 18-28 KR lens will work with a Pentax super A lens and earlier manual lenses without adaptation?

Shouldn't be any problems. It's probably got the Ricoh pin, but it's the rounded end type and rarely causes any problems.

The 18-55mm Kit Lens is a better lens.

Just realised the typing error. Of course my question should be about compatability with a Super A camera.

Algi, the lens has a rounded Ricoh pin. Unfortunatley the 18-55 kit lens would not be full frame on the super A and it does not have an aperature ring.

I've modified the title for better clarity.

I thought the pin was only ever an issue with Pentax auto focus cameras

No problems with the Super-A, it was actually made for that camera.

It actually came out best in tests for zooms of that
range.
