Its the light for me. Lovely blue clouds and darker hills with the sun shining through, the red dust of the road. With the two buses passing it tells a little story. I'm just imagining the conversation between the drivers, "what you having for tea then?", or "anything good that way?".

Thanks Tim, I'll have a play with the cropping of the elephants. I was thinking of doing a square crop, but I will also try an off centre version.

Kenya is among the best locations for the wildlife photography in the whole world. From the US, there are photography safaris which dedicate entire two week trips to the Masai Mara. However, for first timers, it is probably better to visit the several parks and get the flavor from the different locations. Safari in Kenya is opening you to the wilderness, being close to the nature and the head on with wilds in the Africa. Kenya is the proud to be the original home for African Safari excursions, expeditions, holidays and game reserves.

Give me Tanzania any day. Nicer people, more diverse and unspoiled landscapes, better beaches, and a much more pleasant main city to enter through (Dar es Salaam) - Nairobi is a crime-ridden hole (I know, I had to live there for five years).Kenya is among the best locations...

#3 and #5 (beautiful light) for me. That last one if gorgeous !
I do think that most of the shots could do with a boost in contrast and in some cases dialing back the exposure (some highlights are blowing out there) - all should be easily fixed in LR3 / PS or A3
