I would have thought 92 posts was a little more than unloading some problem - he seemed to be enjoying being part of the community and I for one found him very keen , he being an officer of the law like my baby !

I fail to see any relevance on the subject but anyway, my point and I assume JR's too is that its always nice to see someone who is having a problem with the equipment coming back and giving an update. Its in everybody's interest and sometimes the solution that could have resolved the problem can be used for other similar members facing the issue.

It wasn`t relevant Amin - I was merely pointing out that I had had some discourse with him over the fact that he and she were "coppers" and that I had had some good conversation with him regarding both the "job" and cameras.

It would be nice to think that if I "stopped contributing" someone might ask where I was !

Hi Tony, I think members here do ask where one has been when someone disappears for a while, I have first hand experience in this, this is quite a sociable bunch. Even though I am a brand outcast but still feel part of the community here.

I think with the person being referred to by Mike-P its because he hasn't been back at all and we also ended up not knowing the end result of the problems he was having with his K7.

Perhaps you would ask him where he has been if you are in touch with him?

PS: Please note this is just a light hearted conversation, I am as I type this

haha, Ken, if I didn't know your sense of humour I would swear you were having a laugh at my expense my friend . But thank you by the way.

You haven't told me yet about the goldies, are they still flocking around your back garden? Or you have changed your shooting habits and turned to photographing the lovely ladies of Whitby ....

Those are nice looking portraits Ken, well done

Of course there are those that just wont go away no matter what.

Even after a complete system change they still hang around.

Actually I was wondering the other day ...

The average Pentax user is probably getting on a bit in years so I was thinking .. As the forum is by it's nature, a meeting place for people to discuss Pentax cameras without actually leaving the home, how many of the thousands of member accounts that are dormant have died without our knowledge. Quite a few I bet and probably some with very high post counts.

Gosh you are in a not very happy mood Mike .
I wonder why you wanted to know about that, did you want to go to the funeral?

Why should I forget you know about them .. you even posted one of the lenses.

Anyway, 4 lenses is not a stash of Canon equipment and I do actually use a Pentax camera 100% of the time. Since I got the K-5 I hadn't even given them a thought tbh
