Interesting to hear though that it supports contrast based autofocus in HD video mode. I seem to remember somebody posted that autofocus wasn't possible during video capture?

Yes all my Oly gear has now gone, sad because as a system I rate it very highly (as you know) but they didn't have a Pro/enthusiast body I liked/wanted. Pentax certainly tick the box in that area, especially now the K-7 has been released. It is interesting, if you take a look on the Oly SLR forum at dpreview you will see about a couple of sizeable threads by Oly users commenting on the new K-7 as the camera body Oly should have released instead of the E-30 / E-620, which is exactly my sentiment.

Well you may be looking at one soon with the rumoured D400 coming.

Not bothered about a D400, I just needed a camera at a certain time and ended up with the D300.
Want a K-7 ? Maybe, I'll definetley havs a look at it when it comes out.
Retired ? I wish I was.
Funny thing happened today though, went down the camera shop and they didn't have any 49mm filters ( I needed one for my 50mm F1.4 on the LX ) so in desperation I went to Jessops, guess what ? None there either ?
