How could they go from having a huge amount to none almost immediately?
They could have done it themselves when they realised there was a problem, easy enough to do with the correct Ebay tools.

13 negative and 2254 positive in 12 months .. I could happily live with that. I have a feeling they may be getting a lot more bad feedback in the next few weeks though.

I was told on the phone that orders would probably be honoured.
Fingers crossed.

I sent them a messgae via eBay on Saturday asking if we were liable to get the items .. just this second got an answer:

Investigations have revealed significant issues with our pricing database, and warehouse despatch process. This is now being resolved.

All purchases of items in stock will be honoured.

Your item will be picked and despatched from our warehouse within the next 24 hours.
We use DHL courier service, whose delivery estimate, as detailed within our listings, and terms and conditions, is Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), generally from 9am to 5pm. However, we would normally expect next day delivery.

You will receive an automated message upon despatch from our warehouse.

Significant issues with our pricing database?

Translation: Somebody fouled up.

Is this how you get promotion at Jessops.

Interested in what 'All purchases of items in stock will be honoured.' means.

Given they state there are issues with the 'warehouse despatch process', what are the odds that they miraculously only actually had one K-7 in stock and all the other sales are cancelled?

Naturally I am gutted I missed this last week, so I hope for all you who won one that my cynicism is wrong and you get one. If you fancy selling one on for a modest 10% or so profit, do shout...!

Yup, noticed that bit straight away.. and looking at their feedback that seems to be their main letdown.

Still .. nothing ventured, nothing gained.

No items for sale again. I think Ebay need to sort this
shower out!!! They can't let them open and close the
shop whenever they feel like.

Well you bought a used Camera Mike - so I'd argue that it must be in stock. Hope you get it in the end.

I got one of the K7s and it turned up today. Not tested it yet, the battery is on charge at the moment, but it looks in good condition. Most accessories sealed, the camera was pretty clean, but the box was in a bit of a state (it wasn't soled as used though, so no qualms there).
