K7 as a web cam

None of my Pentax d-slrs (ds2, k10) have that functionality.
Now the canon g series compacts do this.... and do it well.

Hmm. Although it might be possible I don't know if it would cause your sensor to wear out too quickly?

I'm more worried about the internet connection, what are you're upload speeds???
I doubt you can stream real time HD with a normal connection.

Seems a terrible waste of the K7 to use it as a webcam.
