Lenses what do you have - more than the 16-45?

Spend the money on lenses that will last you several upgrades. That said of course the 16-45 will take you a long way. I'd get a proper wide angle like the 12-24 or Sigma 10-20 (well actually I did do that) then a longer lens as well.

But hey what do I know. Really do whatever will encourage you to take more photos and enter the weekly and fortnightly competitions on the forum.

In fact why not spend some time entering the competitions and wait for the K7 price to drop a bit? You'll also then know what lenses you really want/need and if getting the K7 is necessary. Apart from the 10-20 I use primes now and love it - you might go the same way.

Wait until you try a prime then - I think my first was the 35mm f2 which I bought at £235 for the wide aperture. It is my lens of choice for a day out.

Hold on for a while, the money will probably not run away (unless the horse needs a vet) and the K7 may well drop in price or you may be seduced by other lenses like the Sigma 30mm 1.4 and I happen to have a shot in Your photos showing what it can do at the moment.
