I have been considering getting one as a sacrificial lens for use in places where sea spray etc. might be an issue or there might be potential for damage. They're not a bad lens and if you can get one for 15 quid it's possibly worth it.

I have one and it's pretty good in the centre field but the edge is really blurred.
