K5 What a Genius
Every time I use it, I say to myself "What a brilliant camera"

With the 2012 Olympics coming to a screen near you, lets do a brand count and post the results.
I could say the same about my D700 but to what end? My K7 gets just as much use.
Best regards
Don't get the idea that these cameras are trouble-free, because they are not.
Not to knock the competition (at least without using emoticons)
Well I hope I can say that when I finally get to use mine, we are having new camera weather here! rain, rain and more rain
Much of this is down to on-site backup, with replacement bodies and lenses being continuously available. The show must go on under these circumstances. Nikon and Canon tend to offer extensive facilities.

To date, I must be picking up a good one with regards to bodies. I have had no issues with any brand DSLR body that I've bought.
Nothing wrong with enthusiasm. I personally like to asses all options and see benefits in other brands as well as my Pentax kit. I did not compare my K7 against the D700 as it was a pointless exercise. Two very different machines in their own right.
Best regards
Can we all make a new year resolution please:
