Changes to V1.01
•Shorten processing time of combining time for HDR Capture.
•Improved performance of continuous shooting when using phase autofocus.
•Extended enlarged display time for live view.
•Improved stability for general performance.

Didn't find any installation info as one usually does, nor the change details shown above - what have I missed please?
I do have the bin file OK and can probably work out what to do with it, but given its the first K-3 update I would prefer to read the docs first incase it isn't the same as the K-5.

No, you don't even need a 32 mb card. Almost any SD card will do.

It says under preparation of update, 32 mb card or more.I don't have a 32mb card only 16.Do you need a card in the camera if you update attached to the computer?

One K-3 image is bigger than 16MB

I have just updated using a 1 mB card. It is so easy using a card - just drop the extracted bin file onto the card ( not the DCIM folder)and Bob's your uncle.
