One final thought, because I focus with my left eye, Ive always turned the camera the other way that the grip faces, its gonna take getting used to turning it anti clockwise, but it is so much comfier!
And no more losing that damned remote
Let me guess, you are right handed just as I am, I have the same "issue" camera's are allways designed for right handed people

My husband is right handed but left-eyed. he can't understand why cameras are made the way they are - I'm right handed and right-eyed and have no problems. My two left handed sons cope just fine too, one is left eyed like his dad, one right eyed like me. Can't please all the folks all the time....

I did that - then he told me how much the postage would be plus if there is a problem it has to go back to him, more postage Yikes.

Cheapest I've seen a K20D body, from a Pentax dealer is €899. You can get it for less from a non Pentax dealer though - usually with full Dutch guarantee.

How about hopping over on the ferry for a long weekend :

The postage is horrific, (57.99 pounds!!!) but still cheaper than a weekend what with the ferry price the price of petrol and somewhere to stay. Also there's still the problem of what if something goes wrong.

I nearly made it to Watford at the end of March - my SIL was celebrating her 60th in Chalfont St Giles, and I was due to go to the knees up - but then I did my elbow in and wasn't up to the drive
Next planned trip is October, and nowhere near Watford sadly.

I'm left handed and left eyed. And I don't have any problems, other than the fact that the LCD gets very greasy

You should stop using all those anti-ageing creams

or body only for £679.

www.cameraworld.co.uk

They have branches in London and Chelmsford or they do mail order on the web.
The body is £679 at SRS too, and I know whom I would rather buy from.

Having shopped from both SRS and CameraWorld (in London), I'd recommend both. Alas for the dutchies, the euro exchange rate makes the like of Rabbit Mountain, Kamera-Express and HAFO look rather expensive....

Next time I bimble through Schiphol I can tell you what the price is....(Dixons Tax Free at LHR T5 still has GX-10s for 370 pounds)..

Schiphol tax free has no Pentax stuff - I asked them. Didn't have time at LHR to investigate, what with transferring terminals and the like.

That is the only thing that worries me.
The price difference is very high. Are we a victim of a Euro which is to strong?

I was at SeeBuyFly about 10 days ago, they did have K20D and K200D, but they do not keep Pentax lenses, only having 2 Tamron lenses in PKAF fit.

I can tell you that the DA*200 and DA*300 at Calumet in Chicago are a fraction of the price you see at Calumet in Rotterrrrrdam ($1005 for the 200), but I had just spent $710 on Adobe PS CS3.
