k200d battery grip

hi has anyone noticed any probs with k200 battery grip, my batterys say there empty.
I open it then they last for ages, and there fine in the body.
just keep snapping,

No problem with my grip, batteries seem to last for ages.

Have you got the grip set as primary power source?

I haven't, the camera uses which ever set has the best power output (Auto select) which could be why.

my battery grip still keeps saying the batteries are flat
so i turn it off and one and there fine for ages,
I have tried with no batterys in camera what so ever, just in the grip,using new charged batteries.

Sounds like you have with your grip,
suggest trying NEW batteries then if that doesn't work,returning your grip for replacement first.
If that doesn't solve the problem then contact Pentax re your body

I suggest you talk to SRS about your problem. With the recent praising of the company, I'm sure they will sort it for you.

Look in the threads under Competitions and you will see a Sticky desribing how to post images here. Please don't confuse the Competitions Gallery with unrelated images.

I have a grip for my K20, one of the pins is shorter than the rest!...........I have no problem with batterys,but the on/off switch on mine doesn't work!......lol........couldn't be a***d to send it back as everything else functions!................Ken

So, if the switch on the grip is turned to 'off', the shutter release on the grip will still fire the camera?
