K1 Sensor Clean Function

I am sure that on all my previous pentax slr cameras when you switched on, there was a pronounced vibration of the sensor which you could feel through the camera. this doesn`t seem to happen on my K1 , theres no perceived difference with the setting set to on or off . is this a fault or is it now vibration free in operation ? any help/advice appreciated, regards, Tim.

Spanner menu #4 > Dust Removal > Startup Action/Shutdown Action: Tick one or both to activate. My K1 makes a low scratching sound on startup.

Brian, Mine makes a scratching sound on start up , but not on turn off , de activating dust removal in menu 4 seems to make no difference either way. regards, Tim.
