Hi, no all updates are cumulative.
The .BIN file provided needs to be on its own (not in a folder) in a freshly formatted card.

'Not in a folder' - yes. 'On its own' and 'freshly formatted' - No. Hi, no all updates are cumulative.

I thought I would be adventurous and just dump the BIN alongside the DCIM folder which has best part of 16GB of pictures in it.
No problems, firmware installed as normal. For the record (K5) I went from 1.03 to 1.14.

I have checked my firmware version (K-r) in light of the recent update and it is v. 1.00!!!!
Do I need to install previous updates before the current one? I have followed the clear instructions for the latest version and nothing happened!
