K-r and Sigma 170-500mm

Any Pentax users here that have used this combo or the Sigma on other Pentax bodies?

The Kr looks a great little camera and with the IS and usable higher ISOs I'm thinking this could be a great outfit for reasonable money.

not used it on a k-r but used it on a k100d super, k200d, k20d,k7, and there cracking i have had the non dg and dg versions no difference in pic quality, but the lens coating on the dg is better.

I can only presume that the performance on the K-r would be equal to or better. Does the focusing hunt much?
